Planemakers | Information Wanted - Jack Points 3291-3297

Hi Folks,

I hope all is well with you.

I need a copy of the instructions explaining the installation of the optional wing jack points that SNA had sold in the past.

If anybody has one that they could copy and mail me or send via email somehow, I would be grateful.

John,

I assume you are talking about the plate that goes under the wing with the mooring point pin that goes thru the plate and into the underside of the wing about 50 inches out from the root..?

I don't have anything in the manuals re the jacking points; however subkit 7 closing wing pg 93,94, 1992 talks about the mooring pin installation in the wing. Other than that it's just a plate with an indent for the jack. I can send you picts if you want.

There is a builder alert re the closing of the wings in relation to future leaks. I belive this is where I had my issues. By the way the leaks in the starboard wing have been repaired and it was half way between the wing jacking point and the root.

Thanks,

John J

Hi Guys,

I have a request for you guys that have the older kits.

I need two pages.

Sub kit 8, pages C-6 and C-7 from the 1993 version. Older versions have them intentionally left blank because they changed something.

They explain the attachment of the water rudder to the air rudder via the rod.

Zoran needs them and I can't find any in my books.

If you have them and you have a way to get them into the computer, email them to me please.
