Has anyone every charted the engine (IO 540) performance in their plane?

If so, does your fuel flow spike every 5 minutes?

At 24/24 one would think that the fuel flow would be constant......

Problem solved.....

Everytime the hyd pump turns on the fuel flow readout spikes. This also happens when the strobes flash.

I need to look at the grounding of the wiring, or the twist of the wires within the cable.
