Whoopee! After ten years and lots of sweat, my airplane construction will be done and ready for me to start up in a month or so. It will take up to another month to win FAA blessings. To get ready and to enhance safety, I need to write a PILOT OPERATING HANDBOOK specific to my airplane and its avionics. Following it and keeping it up to date will undoubtedly greatly enhance flight safety.

I need your help. You may have a SEAWIND POH in either paper or electronic version. I need to find someone with their POH on a hard drive or memory device in a word processor format. For example, in MS WORD, all written. If I could obtain a POH in Word or a similar program, it could serve as my basis to write a POH for my specific bird. It is a heck of a lot easier to amend data, tables, and charts than it is to create them from scratch. Bottom line: Having a POH in a word processer format will save me tons of time in recreating a wheel that likely already exists.

A rewritten and up to date POH could enhance flight safety for other Seawind pilots too. I would be happy to share relative information with contributors. For example, the section on GPS procedures and approaches with Garmin avionics systems might be helpful to some.

Therefore, if you have a Seawind POH or any part thereof in electronic format OR you know of someone who may, would you please, please contact me ASAP?

I would be greatly indebted to you if you could help me in this respect. My goal is to fly safe and do everything in my power to enhance safety for my airplane and everyone who flies in it.
