Mike | FAA Class for Emergency Egress - GET WET!!

This weekend in Rochester NY the FAA and Coast Guard will be holding an egress class. One will start off in the classroom and end up in the pool upside down.

They will be setting up "ride" that splashes you into the water.....

Anyone else going..?

This past weekend the FAA along with the coast guard presented a "SWET" class. Shallow Water Egress Training. We started off in the corner with a video presentation and then moved in to the pool.

Standing on the side of the pool, fully clothed, the coasties yelling, "jump in the water it's 80*"(notice the smiles on their faces), I took the plunge.......crap that water was cold. I guess this is the start of the water training. Come on over, get into the chair..... The rest is history, click on the last picture below...!!!
