For those at the splash in there is no need to epxplain. Just like Many of the Splash ins before this year the event was Amazing. The weather for 99% of the time less Saturday late night was really very nice winds were calm allowing for some decent water flying. Trianing, sharing, and learning was accomplished with simply the greatest group of people I know and all I have come to respect in the highest regard.

Most of all Tom and Steph went way beyond the call to make this years event nothing shy of truly wonderful. From the hospitality, food, even the perfect local musician Ruth Wyand for a superior nights entertainment I can only say THANK YOU !!!

Profound thanks to Tom and Stephanie for the best Splashin ever. It was a real treat seeing everyone again and trading information about Seawind flying.

It was a rewarding sight to see seven Seawinds on Tom's front lawn.

Host and Hostess were magnificent from the Saturday night pig roast (aided by good friends Richard and Jan) to the entertainment provided by Ruth Wyand, an excellent guitarist and singer. I had a wonderful time and it seemed that everyone else did, too.

Another fantastic event. Thanks Tom and Steph for hosting with such warm hospitality. Not only a great learning experience (as are all these get togethers), but with the best pulled pork this side of Memphis. Thanks again. Bill

Steph and I would like to thank everyone who attended the Splash-in. Without your help it would not have been the success that it was. I would like to thank you also for your generosity, it was greatly appreciated.

To have seven Seawinds sitting in my backyard was truly exiting. My neighbors are still talking about it.

After Russ's talk about the stern thruster and how well it works, I decided that it will be my winter project. All the discussions this year were very informative as well as entertaining.

If you haven't done so already, Please send your photos into Mike so that he could put them up on the web site. Thanks again to all of you for making the 2012 Splash-in a great event. Weekends like these are what keep all of us interested in this great plane.

To those of you who did not attend, you missed a great time. Hopefully you will attend next year where ever it might be. Now is the time to start thinking about.
